Catherine is an artist, qualified teacher and author living in West Yorkshire in the UK. She takes commissions and teaches independently on line and in person. She studied art and surface pattern at Huddersfield and Leeds Collage of Art.

Catherine has had several local exhibitions displaying her paintings depicting dramatic landscapes in oils and pastels and has exhibited in the Holmfirth Art Festival where she now displays yearly on the fringe.  She has ran drawing, painting and life drawing classes locally and teaches a wide range of art  and well being subjects.

Catherine has gone from strength to strength moving from painting to glasswork and now metal work. 

If you are local to Huddersfield and the surrounding areas you may have seen Catherine at local craft and art fayres where she goes under the name of Catherine Jane Glass. You will find all her art work and creations under the umbrella of 'picklepotjewelleryandglassdesign'.

Her glass work is currently being displayed around Europe and in Dubai 2024.

Currently Catherine has work on display in Switzerland and Grenada 2025
